In answer to your questions -
When you speak of your Aunt Mary Brenneman - you are speaking of my grandmother.

Your Aunt Mary Brenneman was a sister to Thompson Fife McCabe.
She was a daughter to Col. Jos. McCabe.

I am not sure of my grandmother's relationship to Mrs. W. C. Easton. However the Easton family are still in Pittsburgh. Mr. Easton may have passed away but there are two daughters living there. I think one is Mrs. Wm. Martin and the other daughter is Mrs. Frank Liggett - 5823 Walnot St. E. E. Pittsburgh. Mrs Liggett was Margaret Easton. You may be able to get in touch with them.

Your other question - what was Aunt Mary Brenneman's relation to Mrs. H. J. Gouley - Mrs. Mary Brenneman was the mother of Mrs. Gouley.

Mrs. Lavinia Coulter was a sister to Mr. Thompson Fife McCabe

I also found a notation in Aunt Jennies (Mrs. Gouley) handwriting stating "Grandfather McCabe (That would be Joseph McCabe) was born June 4 - 1790. Died 1870. Grandmother died 1831".

The McCabe family history which I have given you should be correct, as I copied it from a small booklet called "The descendants of John and Wm. Fife" which was publiched for some reunion of the Fife descendants many years ago.

I trust this is the information that you wanted.

I hope you will come to St. Louis again, as I remember you and Mrs. Tone stopping here on your way to or from Florida one year. We would enjoy seeing you so much and if ever any of us get to Pittsburgh we will be sure to let you know.

I am Edna. I married Leonard Morton and we are living in the old home. Ada is not married and lives here with us. Mother, you know passed away almost fourteen years ago.

Let me hear from you again sometime - it is a pity not to keep in touch with one's relatives - especially as we have so few. Also tell me what was the relationship between Mrs. Tone and my mother and Aunt Jennie?

Hoping to hear from you again

Sincerely Edna Flitcraft Morton
